1001 Nusantara Dancers Embodiment of Unity in Diversity Performing in the City Hall of Surakarta. Aneuk Naggroe Nusantara (Sansa) Studio is collaborating with thousands of dancers from all over Soloraya to enliven the 1001 Nusantara Dancer event, in the Solo City Hall Page, Sunday (2/2/2020). They involved dozens of junior high schools (SMP), senior high schools (SMA), to the campus, policewomen in Solo. Each sent 20 participants to join this event. The event’s organizer, Hasanul Muttaqin, on Sunday, said that the 1001 Dancers of the Archipelago carried the Peusaboh Hatee Wareh Syedara theme. The purpose of this agenda is the cultural exchange between Java and Aceh. “The hope is that with this we get closer and get to know each other’s cultures and are the embodiment of unity in diversity,” he said. Nusantara dances in the form of theater and colossal performances that combine Javanese-Aceh dance moves. From Aceh brought Ratoh Jaroe Dance, Ratoh Bantai Dance, and Seudati Dance and from Java brought Javanese theater. Surakarta Mayor FX Hadi Rudyatmo advised to continue to cultivate and develop the nation’s cultural arts without differentiating ethnicity, religion, race and class. This event is a solace of solo residents who are around the pendhapi gedhe city hall.
