The Keris Museum, located in the Sriwedari Complex, adds to the number of museums in the city of Surakarta. The existence of the Keris Museum is a new tourist destination in the city of Surakarta. The Museum Building which has five floors, one basement floor and four floors above, the museum is able to display no less than 600 keris in its showroom. At present 336 keris blades have been collected, which are grants from community leaders and collectors both in the city of Solo and surrounding cities.
Facilities owned by this museum are also fairly complete. On the basement floor there is a parking space, then on the first floor is an audio visual room. There is a library room on the 2nd floor then the diaroma room on the third floor and the fourth floor of the keris storage which is the work of a master piece. For foreign tourists, don’t worry, there are already six tour guides, of whom mastering English and French.
