Haryo Tangguh and Hanna Fattala were inaugurated as Putra and Putri Solo. The grand final of the selection was conducted at the City Hall on Saturday (8/13). Also attending the event were the Deputy Mayor of Surakarta Achmad Purnomo, the Regional Secretary, and other leaderships of Surakarta government offices.
The finalists were required to share their views, not only about culture, arts, and tourism, but also to share their ideas to develop Surakarta as a city of cultural heritage and as the most livable city.
“As a young generation, you need to love and promote the culture and all potential of the city. We have noble values, traditions, cultural diversity, traditional arts, traditional food, and many others. These are all potentials that we need to develop so that we can improve the welfare of the society,” Deputy Mayor Achmad Purnomo told the finalists.
The runner up of the selection were Markus Ashadi and Anastasia Ghevi, while the second runner-up Rizky Fajar Pambudi and Ivena Sam Eden.
