The Surakarta City Culture Office presented 30 reog homeland artists groups namely the Greater Solo area, East Java and Jakarta in the context of the 7th Singo Barong Festival in Vastenburg Fortress, Saturday (09/14/2019). The event was held for two days from 14-15 September 2019 starting at 16.00 pm until finishing with the theme of Babat Alas Loboyo. Tripe Alas Loboyo implies wingit wilderness symbolism but in it there is peace, togetherness, and provide prosperity. The purpose of this event is to realize the city of Surakarta as an independent and prosperous cultural city, maintain and promote reog art as a regional cultural treasure to support national culture, encourage the creativity of artists in their work to develop reog art culture that is more responsive to creative and innovative.
