The 11th SIPA event for three days from September 5 to September 7, 2019 took the countries of South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, India, New Zealand and of course also Indonesia (Solo, Aceh, Riau, Tidore, Medan, Banten, Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta). It was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Surakarta, the Regional Secretary along with the ranks of the Regional Representative Council, Surakarta City Muspida, South Korean Ambassador Mr. Kim Chang Bum, Expert Minister of Tourism in the Field of Management Calendar Event Dra. Esthy Reko Astuti, M.Si and Chair of SIPA 2019 Ira Kusumorasri. Surakarta Mayor in his remarks delivered by Deputy Mayor Achmad Purnomo, Solo City is a city of culture and performance art that has been recognized worldwide. Solo keeps history for the pillars of Indonesian civilization, especially with the increasingly diverse organization of cultural arts events held without leaving the identity of the city. “This year the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism has released 100 Wonderful Events 2019. This is a manifestation of the active role of both the government and the world of tourism in working together to win Indonesia as the main destination for world travel,” he explained. SIPA 2019 with the theme “Arts as a Social Action” will be a moral message that not only uploads public awareness and appreciation of various works of art and culture, but more than that can be a bridge of friendship between countries. The event that was held by SIPA Community in collaboration with the Surakarta City Government is expected to be able to make a cultural art performance container to a sustainable international arena. In particular, it can bring in domestic and foreign tourists so that Solo City can be known to the public. On the first day there were performances by the SIPA 2019 mascot Elizabeth Sudira who was also the 2010 Solo Princess, Lively Candra Kirana, Chun Seul Dance Company from South Korea, Malaydansstudio from Riau, Century Contemporary Dance Company from Taiwan, Abib Igal Dance Project from Palangkaraya, Chinese Youth Goodwill Association from Taiwan, and Kunokini & SvaraLiane from Jakarta. The atmosphere of SIPA tonight was broken and lively with the presence of South Korean Youtuber Jang Hansol, moreover the average visitor was a millennial generation. Ayu (23), one of them, was excited to watch SIPA this time and was able to take pictures with her.
